Aiko Sarasvaty Prabowo is an early career environmental engineer driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep respect for water. She has always been fascinated by how community interact with the environment. This interest has led her to explore the intersection of engineering, sustainability, and community resilience.

Her work spans wastewater treatment design, environmental impact assessments, and modeling of water infrastructure systems. She is especially drawn to nature-based solutions and hydraulic engineering, inspired by how countries like the Netherlands view water not just as a challenge to overcome, but as a resource to design with.

Aiko has collaborated on international initiatives such as the UNESCO Water Resilience Challenge and Wetskills, presenting her ideas at global forums and working alongside diverse, multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions for water-related issues. Outside of engineering, she enjoys writing, traveling, photography, diving, teaching children about the environment, participating in hackathons, and quietly observing how water flows through both natural and built landscapes.

She is still early in her journey and is always open to learning, connecting, and exploring new ways to make a small, positive impact.
