Pamsimas Water Adventure 2024

A while ago, my friends and I had the amazing opportunity to join the Pamsimas Water Adventure 2024 held in Bleberan Village, Gunungkidul as part of the World Habitat Day celebration. The event brought together 40 students from various universities, and it was packed with insightful and fun activities!

One of the most memorable moments was during the scavenger hunt to find natural filter media for a simple water filtration system. We explored the surrounding area looking for charcoal, gravel, sand, and other natural materials to build our filter while enjoying the fresh village air and the calming sound of flowing water. It felt like healing, but with an educational twist!

This photo was taken right when we were searching for filter materials—tired faces but super happy, especially because our team ended up winning 2nd place!

Fun fact: I joined this event while I was still waiting for my thesis final defense schedule. Talk about productive procrastination!
